About the Department

The Undergraduate Programme B.E. Biomedical Engineering started in the year 2019 and is functioning effectively to impart quality education.

The department has highly qualified and well experienced faculties in areas like Instrumentation, Biomedical Engineering, Medical electronics, and more. They are actively involved in the Teaching–Learning Process and Research activities.

Theme: Present innovative ideas on futuristic medical technologies.

Topics: AI & Digital Health, Biomedical Devices, Biotechnology, Advanced Materials, and more.

Rules: Paper Presentation Teams of 1-3 members must submit a 250-300 word abstract before the deadline( will be anownce later). Participants will then present their work using a PPT of 8-12 slides, with 5 minutes allocated for the presentation and 3 minutes for a Q&A session. Judging will focus on the project's relevance and innovation, the clarity of the presentation, and how effectively the team handles questions from the panel.
Poster Presentation Teams of up to 3 members are required to design a standard A1 size poster that clearly outlines their project's objectives, methodology, and conclusions. Each team will have 5 minutes to present their poster, followed by a 2-minute Q&A. Posters must be visually appealing and readable from a distance, with judging criteria based on creativity, technical content, relevance to the theme, and the presenters' explanation skills.

Theme: A platform for showing the latest innovation in medical engineering. Innovative projects on health and human well-being are appreciated.

Rules: Maximum 3 members per team. The project should be a working model or prototype. Teams should bring their own display equipment.

Theme: Decode the case. Discover the cure- where every clue counts! An electrifying quiz to showcase problem-solving and quick-thinking skills.

Rules: Team size: 2–3 participants. Use of mobile phones, calculators, or internet during rounds is strictly prohibited. 4. Participants must be present on time for each round; late entries will not be entertained.

Theme: Quick thinking and rapid responses challenge.

Theme: Link the clues, Spark the aura.

Rules: Don’t use mobile phone while event starts. If the team press the buzzer and didn’t tell the answer, automatically the point will reduce. If the team will break the rules, the team will be disqualified

Theme: To solve the puzzle with your mind to win the game.

Rules: Each team must have 3 members.Mobile phones or outside help are not allowed.Teams must follow the given time limits.Judges’ decision will be final.Any form of misbehavior leads to disqualification.
